| Visitor Comments: sadly Vic Foulston, one time secretary of Warwickshire Long Distance Swimming Association, passed away on 28th January. I understand his funeral is 12th February. Vic was a very enthusiastic innovator for open water swimming, being the driving force behind various Stoney Cove events, including the overnight 12 hour relay, during the 1980's. He will be sadly missed by those that knew him. I personally owe him a lot. Percy Bull and myself both send our sincere condolences to his wife Audrey and his family. |

We have at last retired and so have time to catch up on everything. It is so reassuring to see so many of our contempories are still involved with the B.L.D.S.A.
We are planning to be present for the Open Water Events at the Olympics and would love to meet up with anyone else who will be there.

You may remember me from the late 70's and 80's when I used to live in Torquay and did the Windermere swims etc. I remember Paul Tew and Rob Sherburn although I was always way behind them being a bit of a slow coach. I am now living just outside Glasgow and looking to get back into the swimming in a coaching capacity. If anyone wants coaching for that special swim contact me.
