Visitor Comments: I had the oppurtunity to meet and run with 3 of your team last week at the mass senior games. I'd like to join the group although I'm about 10 seconds behind you guys in the 400. It felt great to sprint again after high school 34 years ago so I'm up for the challenge. Please email to jhershonpromo@cs.com

While currently at Univ of Miss Med Center, I am a New Englander born and bred. I was a sprinter at Fitchburg State College and have recently started masters sprinting. I would be honored if I could join the club even though I will be running mostly here in the South. Great web site.

John Oleski first introduced me to MassVelocity while we were long-jumping at Manchester, NH, at the 2007 Granite State Games. That was only my third track meet ever, my first having come a year earlier at Manchester. At the Maine State Games in September, Kim Williams handed me a MassVelocity club card, so here I am at the web site.

I live in Gilford, NH, and hope to compete indoors when the season starts, if I can find out when the meets will be.

I was referred to you by Steve Vaitones from USA Track & Field New England. I am interested in training for and entering sprinting competitions. I am 44 years old. I have been searching for a club that isn't just long distance, but for sprinters. I used to run track in high school, and was getting discouraged thinking there was no club for sprinters my age. Where does Mass Velocity meet and train?

Just to say it was a huge pleasure meeting Susan W. and Kim W. of Mass Velocity in the Indoor Championship in Boston this past month.  They are great ladies and I enjoyed getting to know them better, and I hope to see them (plus Paula F.) at the Outdoor Nationals in Orono.

Susan is now a Pentababe!  (ask her about that).

Sincerely,   Liz Palmer  Golden West Athletics Club of Sacramento, CA

Oh, and thanks Mass Velocity for posting a great picture of me on your website.  On the photos of the 2006 Boston Indoor Nationals there's a pic of the women's 60 meter sprint.  Paula F. is on the left, and I'm smack dab in the center of that image wearing orange and navy.

Happy Training,

Liz Palmer

Please pass this message along to Paula Fortuna --

Hi Paula, it was such a pleasure meeting you at the Boston Indoor Nationals.  We chatted a bit before the 200 meters and since that was my first Masters meet ever (!!!) you really put me at ease.  That having been said, I enjoyed the experience so much that I'm going to Charlotte.  Nothing more fun than sprinting (unless for me it's hurdling).

If you'd like to email me back and let me know if you're going to Charlotte or not, my email is lpalmer8260@yahoo.com.  Hope you training is going well.

Sincerely,   Liz Palmer (brown hair in a ponytail, silver medal in the 200, from Brooks Fleet Feet Sacramento)
