| Visitor Comments: Eddie- These were the best of times. I loved BU football. BU's program was every bit as accomplished as the UMass, UNH, Deleware, Richmond, and JMU programs that flourish today in AA. Keep up the good work and pressure to get this sport back one day. We have a football statue in front of Agganis Arena yet no program, makes no sense. Shout out to Lex Thornton the greatest Terrier of all time on the field (post Harry Agganis). |

Visitor Comments: It's the same Tony Sparano. He was the offensive coordinator and left in 1994 to become the head coach of New Haven.
I still miss BU football. Hopefully President Brown will bring it back, but it seems unlikely. |

Visitor Comments: Is this Tony Sparano the same coach who is now the head coach of the Miami Dolphins? I never noticed before.
I graduated in 1993 and I went to a lot of these games, they were really, really good. I'm not sure what happened after I left that lead to cancelling the football program.  |

| Visitor Comments: I'm pretty sure there is currently a stalemate right now at getting football back to BU. I don't think any progress is being made whatsoever. This upcoming year I will be a junior at BU and I want to see football come back to BU more than anything. I feel if the current students and the alumni teamed up then perhaps we can create enough pressure on the administration to get the process rolling again. If anyone has any ideas or would like to discuss how we can start to get rolling with us please email me at mwquint@bu.edu or call me at 201-723-5027. I'm sure I can get enough kids at BU to help me with this cause. Let's do it. |
