| Visitor Comments: I am a descendent of early Galva and LaFayette residents. I am looking for information I can find on Barnabas Jackson, and the White families. One of my ancestors was an itenerate Methodist Minister who's last name was White. Amos Morey Jackson left with his wife and daughters for Oklahoma. I am writing a book on their journies. -- Donlyn Arbuthnot |

| Visitor Comments: Hi All,
Great pictures of downtown Galva. I grew up in Glava and was looking at old pictures- remembering times of days gone by. Our class will be celebrating 20 years this summer- hard to believe it has been so long.
Many things change and some things remain the same. Ben Franklin is long gone- but the park downtown remains the same with the old canon. Thanks for pictures.

Visitor Comments: Hi I am from Stromsburg Nebraska which was organized by a group from Galva in 1871. I have been doing some family research and found several Noyds in your town in 1870. My great-great grandfather was in Iowa at this time, but I think they might have been related. I was wondering if any decendents of Lewis, Peter, or John Noyd are still in the area. If you can't help me maybe you can direct me to someone who can. Thanks Charles Noyd |

| Visitor Comments: My father was born in Galva IL 85 years ago. I remember visiting my grandparents there, as a child. Dad is the youngest of 7 children born to William T. and Mary Josephine Thompson. He and 2 sisters survive, the oldest being 92 years old, my Aunt Myrtle. I think I recognize the building on your opening page. We used to go into town to the feed store, I think it was. |

| Visitor Comments: The old guestbook stopped working so I have started a new guestbook as of February 7th, 2006. The website is pretty much the same otherwise. |
