Marry was borne Musselburg. ( Robert Smith and Bettie Maxwell) and in about 1770 they came to Virginia with/ seven? of their eleven ?children.
i am so glad to have some of my grand parrents from Scotland.
If i could go back futher, the 14th century, who knows what i might be - a Pict! i sometimes feel like it!

I am interested in information about my great-grandfather on my grandfather's side of the family. My grandfather was George Campbell; his father was John Campbell (born in Riccarton in 1862; mother was Janet Frew also born in 1862). I seem to be hitting a dead-end at Ancestry.com. Can you give me some guidance?

Brought up and stayed in Mauchline from 1950's to early 1970's.
I am particularly interested in any information on Mauchline senior football side who played during 1870's thru to 1890's at Connel Park.
They won the first Ayrshire Cup and reached the last 6 of the Scottish Cup in the same season 1877-78. |
