Visitor Comments: I have a theory about the 6th Artemis Fowl book. Here's what I think is going to happen: In his interview, Colfer specified that the book would be about Finland, Ireland, and Morocco, and large creatures that have lain dormant for centuries. Also it would involve a dodgy hypnotherapist named Dr. Kronskii. Another key piece of evidence that supports my theory is when Minerva states "Very well, Papa. For you, I will forego my Nobel Prize. This year at any rate." and then she thinks "Next year will be different. When I know what Artemis Fowl knows." Now, on to the explaining.
I think Minerva will trick Artemis into revealing what he knows about the people. After all, she's had three years to convince Butler she's not a threat, and Artemis is too smitten to think that she might be lying. Sorry Arty, but nobody's perfect all the time.
I also think that the new hypnotherapist, Dr. Kronskii, will be the villain in this particular story. He can hypnotize people into doing his bidding! Therefore, I think that he will hypnotize said dormant creatures into awakening and possibly attacking, leaving Arty and the gang distracted so Minerva can more easily work her conniving little plan into fruition.
Sorry, but I have something against Minerva. This world is only big enough for one juvenille criminal mastermind, and I would rather it be Artemis than some stuck-up brat like her. I hope Colfer agrees.
Anyways, I hope the next book comes out pretty soon so I can say I told you so.
