| Visitor Comments: Hi we have an 11 yr. old son who last December was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome! Before that he had been diagnosed as ADHD?ODD when he was 6! So inproper medication and such didn't do anything to help us! So now that we are on the right track, we are looking for any and all the advice we can get as our son is having a very difficult time in school! What to do! Also wwe are oldeer parents, our son has 3 older sisters ages 25, 22, and 21! His dad is 62 and I am 52 so we really are dealing with alot. My I say in advance that we will do anything to aid our son and we are grateful to all who offr their advice! A heartfelt thankyou to yo all. Dawn |

Visitor Comments: Hi my name is Jack, and I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome at the age of 10 in May 1996, I am now nearly 22.
Life has been difficult, if I had a choice I would not have it. I have often thought of suicide as a cure for it.
Maybe people with Asperger's will never have to get cancer, seeing as though having Asperger's is tough enough. |

| Visitor Comments: Thank you so much for being here online! It's nice to have a personal touch to something that can be so medical! I have an 11 year old son with Asperger's as well as a 9 yr old and 4 year old twins...I am also a single mom. It is difficult being a single mom and with his diagnosis it makes life that much more challenging!

| Visitor Comments: I did not understand a moment ago that I could add a comment here in. I am not an Aspie but i think that my husband of 30 years (we are now divorced) was definitely one. I am here more in need of a support group than any thing else and to learn all I can learn in respect to helping my children, grandchildren and others. Having received my original education (B.S.) in the field of Sociology/Social Work and then an M.S. in education/Special Eduacation emphasis, I am just interested in these fields of study--period.
