| Visitor Comments: Good Evening,
My Great grandmother was Mary Payce, married to a charles Drury, from Kingston upon Hull. They had several children, most of whom carried the surname Payce as a middle name, to keep it alive, so to speak. I know my family has strong conections with the Payce family for that reason. There is a possibility, however faint, that we may be related, albeit distantly. I'd love to hear from you to see if we can establish if we are cousins accross the pond, so to speak. What I can tell you as the difinitive article is that Mary Payce was born in Scotland, around 1862 but moved to Hull as she had relatives there. This is how she came to marry Charles Drury who was from Hull originally. The name Payce was given to several of their children as a middle name to keep it alive and eventually became my fathers middle name. He chose to hyphonate it with payce and thus the family name of Payce-Drury was born in the early 1960's. I changed my name to Adrian Cameron-Black for personal resons but my name at Birth was Payce-Drury, a true descendant of the Drurys, and indeed, the Payce's.
Good health to you and I hope to hear from you soon.

| Visitor Comments: Howdy cousin - uh, genetic cousin. My husband, Jerry Burns PACE is, at the minimum, a 6th generation American PACE.... but before that, in the Mother Land, you & he shared a common male ancestor. Who could that be? Jerry's 2nd great-grandfather had the unusual name of "Joachim L. (Lindsey?) PACE, which might be a clue. |

| Visitor Comments: I am looking for the family of my GGG Grandfather his name was Macklin Wyles...we cannot find him in any Wyles family here in the USA. We are thinnking that maybe his name Macklin was his mothers maiden name? He named his daughter Sarah Elizabeth...maybe that is also a family name?
He does not show up on any census in the USA, he surfaces in 1848 in Screven County Ga when he married my GGG Grandmother Lavinia Hodges. He again shows up in 1862 when he enlisted in the Confederate army in the US Civil war, he died in Feb 1864 at Dalton Ga in the US Civil War...
Do you have any John Macklin or any Macklin females marrying a Wyles back in the 1800's?

| Visitor Comments: Hi, ')"> I found your site interesting even though I am not related to your family. Just looking at several sites to get an idea of what others are doing with their site. I love the old time pics of relatives, places, etc. I have a site up on geocities dealing with our community of Mather, PA, but want to do a geneology site on the Benamati family. Keep up the excellent work and good luck in contacting your relatives - that is my next step - contacting relatives in Malcesine, Lake Garda, Italy that no one has heard from since my gf passed away 25 years ago - I have 5 old letters with addresses - all I can do is try - and hope I get a response - good luck from me to you ')"> Cyndee |

| Visitor Comments: I came across your page by luck. Lady Maugham (who married Freddie M.) was my aunt. I have a Maugham family tree running back to William Maugham (c.1680-1771) but it peters out before reaching Garrat or William Burnley. I would be happy to provide info. if you would like it. Best wishes. Loved the smilies. TM
