Visitor Comments: My father Jack Douch served on HMS Bramham and attended the reunion in Malta in 2002. We have both very much enjoyed this website and all of its information. In particular we were delighted to see the photo of HMS Ohio supposedly being towed by Ledbury and Penn. In fact Ohio was towed by Bramham and Penn, Bramham being the only attached ship on entering Grand Harbour. And Dad has signed the photo!
If there are any ex Bramham shipmates around Dad would love to hear from them. |

Visitor Comments: I am the son of Gunner "Bill" Todd of the Royal West Kent Regiment who served in Valetta when the convoy which was known as Operation Pedestal arrived. My Dad was in the BBC film about the convoy, and was active in the George Cross Island Association up until his death. He was then President of Bognor Regis Round Table, if my memory serves me aright.
I'm Graham Todd (now 62 years of age) and was at one time Mayor of Crawley and a West Sussex County Counciller. I'd be happy to hear from anyone that know my father, or knew of my father, in Malta. my email address is grahamtodd(two) (at) googlemail (dot) com [change bracketed words accordingly].
Sorry to hear of the demise of your grandfather's demise, but the website is a fitting memorial to his bravery. Graham |

Visitor Comments: Like Linda, sadly, I only found Danny's fantastic web-site when it was to late. My dad John Kenyon (known to all as Jack) died suddenly on the 16th of November 2008 aged 82. My mum recalls the name of the Brisbane Star as a ship he was due to sail on when he was given a medical discharge from the merchant navy (she also says she recalls that it was later sunk although I have found no evidence of this). We have no idea if he'd sailed on Her previously as we are struggling to find some documents we haven't seen for years. We do however have an I.D. card from when he sailed on the S.S. Marquesa in 1945. If anybody knew dad or may be able to shed any light on the ships he may have sailed on I would be delighted to hear from you. I have photo's of my dad with unnamed crewmates on unnamed ships (west coast of Africa 1943, South America 1944) that I would be glad to share once I have scanned them into my computer.
