In response to Carolyn's desire to return Keats to England and the Administrator's reply, I'll quote Keats (from a letter to Brown) -   "O, to be buried near where she lives."

Enough said . . .

I have enjoyed your site.  I always regret that I did not pursue a career in literature but after reading your test questions I remember why.

I will celebrate with you.  Please tell me what you think about returning Keats' remains to England.  I want to devote the rest of my life to that task but have never even heard it mentioned.  Of course if we did we would have to bring Shelley back as well.  Let me know your feelings on the subject.  I am never lucky enough to speak with someone who even knows who Keats is.  why are we required to put those characters in the box?  oh, and what do you know about the movie?

Admin Reply: Hi there Carolyn, I agree the exam questions are very trying!
I'm not sure what I think about returning Keats' remains to England. On one hand, it would be nice to have him back in the country that inspired so much of his poetry. On the other hand, I wonder whether he is at peace now, where he is in Rome. Bringing him back here might 'stir things up', if you know what I mean? Maybe he's happy where he is. It depends on your opinions on an afterlife I guess.
I've heard rumours on the Keats forum about a film.. but I know nothing more than they do. Having someone high-profile play Keats would raise his legacy so much, maybe Orlando Bloom? He's about the right age.
