Visitor Comments: paul balasch was in the green swamp, cumpressco area, 15/18 october with a local group.
we were saw deer and were "frightened" by several hogs in the palmettos. (atleast six.)
one possible vocalization was heard (or a screech owl) i could not positively identify, so it was a maybe. others were positive it was chatter.

| Visitor Comments: I live in Southampton County in southern rural Virginia. I was walking my dog early Sunday a.m. down a logging path on our family farm. When I had gone about 500 yards down this path that winds through the woods I heard 5 distinct knocking sounds coming from the area where I had just walked. It sounded like someone was knocking against a tree with a hard stick. It gave me a strange sensation. I found a stick and knocked back. No response. I stopped my walk and returned home. |
