Visitor Comments: My gosh - the picture of Nathan at cowtown with his Dad makes him look so old!   Can't believe how much a picture makes you realize these little people don't stay little for very long.  Guess you just have to hold onto every precious minute you have with them, appreciate it and give thanks.

Hi, Scott and Marie-France - what a lovely photo!  I can't believe how much Connor has grown in such a short time.  He's quite a big boy now.

With Nathan old enough to understand a bit about Easter, I'm sure you had a wonderful time with him - if he's anything like my grandchildren, he will not have got through all his chocolate yet.  Samuel (20 mths) was yelling in the background when I was talking to Cathie tonight, wanting more.  I had a lovely time with all my family here, but was glad to sit back and relax when they'd all gone!  When you're used to being on your own, having 11 people, 5 of them children, to stay can be a bit wearing.

Have fun building the deck.  I guess your Dad will be involved as well, Scott.

Love to you all, Marilyn XXX

Just checked in hoping for some more pictures - Connor is so cute!  Love the photo of the three "boys" together.  Glad to hear all are doing well.

I've just had Sascha (4) and Sammy (1 1/2) to stay for a couple of days with their Mum.  Leaves me with no time for anything else, but they were so good, and we had lots of fun.  They enjoyed going out to the farm with me to check on the cows - lots of "Moo" noises from Sammy!

Love to you all, Marilyn. XXX

Just thought I'd check your website - what timing!  Congratulations on Connor's safe arrival.  He looks a healthy little chap, and I do hope that Marie-France is recovering well from the op., and that Nathan enjoys having a new brother.  Look forward to seeing more photos when Connor comes home.

Love to you all, Marilyn. XXX

Hi fom Downunder, Scott, Marie-France and Nathan,

Just checked to see what you've been up to, and pleased to see you've been experiencing a heatwave.  So have we, but ours is the 30o-to-42o-above-for-over-a-week type!  Absolutely exhausting, and most unusual.  Typically we would have two or three 30o days, then a cool change and back to the mid 20os for a week, but it just hasn't let up.  Even the nights don't get down below 25o, which is also very unusual.  The worst part has been the horrific fires in several areas of our state, with thousands of hectares of bush and farmland burnt, 20+ houses gone in the western part of Victoria and thousands of sheep and cattle dead or so badly injured they had to be shot.  Some rain today has eased it a bit, but some fires are still burning and will flare up again the minute the wind gets up.  The scary part is that Feb and March are our hottest months, so we may be in for a horror summer.

Anyway, enough of that.  Sounds as though Nathan is trying his wings in the independence area, and trying your patience at the same time!  Fortunately the tantrums don't last too long, do they, and this stage of his development won't last forever!  Sometimes that thought is the only thing that gets us through.

Hope you are keeping well, Marie-France, and that the last few weeks go quickly for you.  I always found that the closer the due date came, the slower the hands on the clock moved (showing my age in this digital world!).

Say Hi! to Nathan for me, and love to you both,

Marilyn.
