Visitor Comments: Mr. Richard, It was a pleasure to watch the video "Against the Tide". It brought tears to my eyes and made me appreciate my "Acadia" heritage even more. I felt as though I was experiencing the deportation myself. My mother's maiden name was Richard. My paternal grandmother's name was Hebert. We found out that Joseph Broussard dit Beausoleil is my ancestor. My father's name was Romero, being the descendant of Miguel Romero, who help found New Iberia. Every drop of blood that runs in me is full of spice and tenacity.

Visitor Comments: Hello Zach! I am a brand new fan...I heard you on an online radio station that I have just recently began to listen to at work (Radio Louisane) . I am a fairly new convert to cajun music and I do love it. I prefer it to be sung in the original cajun french rather than english. Just wanted you to know although apparently you have been around for a while, there are new fans out there!

Visitor Comments: I love Zachary Richard's Music. I do have a lot of his CDs and am interested in the english translation of the song Cap Enragé. When I try to get it from his web site it does not work. Perhaps you can direct me on this. I have many fond memories of him playing in this area and wish he would still play around here more

Visitor Comments: I just discovered Zachary Richard last year and was amazed by the quality and artistry of his music. I think Cap Enrage is one of the best albums I have every heard from any musician. My family is francophone in St.Boniface Manitoba which has a large french speaking community. We led a struggle to improve french rights there and Zachary was good enough to send us a letter of support that thrilled a lot people here. My wife had seen him play in Winnipeg many years ago and I am looking forward to seeing him perform sometime in the future. William Caithness
