The Fenghuang International Youth Hostel introduced the idea of International Hostelling in Hunan by being the first hostel in the province. This Hostel was rebuilt from a local residential house. The pavilion of the hostel is about 200 years old and is the largest and best preserved in Fenghuang.
The Hostel can accommodate 42 people at one time. There are 2 twin-rooms, 2 triple-rooms and 4 dormitory rooms with 6 to 8 beds respectively. The Hostel provides a clean and comfortable environment with many services such as a bar, reading room, internet availability, international dialing, self-service kitchen, self laundry, bike rental, and ticket booking. Travel information for the Fenghuang area and other scenic places nearby is available and communication is encouraged between travelers.
