My nephew, Lewis Kuppler, moved to your town this week.  I don't the company he went to work for in Mott, only that it is agri/fertilizer industry.  He is really a good man, an Eagle Scout & college graduate. Hope he makes a happy life in your community.

I enjoyed looking at your web pages.

I am trying to compile a family history.  My paternal grandmother (Ellen Christensen) and grandfather, Mark Syverud, lived in Mott.  Mark owned the drugstore which he purchased in 1920.  They had one son, John Syverud, my father.  After the death of Mark, which remains a mystery, my grandmother married Hugo Auer.  Any information that can be passed along would be most appreicated.

Visitor Comments: Born In Elgin but lived in Mott from 1945-1951 when Mom  and Dad (Paul Zeller and Anna Hintz) moved west  We lived on a rolling hillside with St Vincents Church at the begining of the road.  A sod house was accross the road and built into the hillside.  At a bout 4 years of age I and friend Dougie Frieze tried to run away to the county fairgrounds about a half mile away or so behind our house.  Didn't get too far till we were picked up by a fuel trucker.  Only other people I remember in Mott were Helen and Harvey Green that had a farm outside Mott.  I have not been back, but plan to visit June 2010.  LARZEL@AOL.COM

Visitor Comments: Very nice website. I was born in Mott, but we moved to Mpls. when I was about 5 or 6 yrs. old. My dad, Nick, owned the dry cleaners in town for a short time.I still have some family in the area and return every year for the world class pheasant hunting! My trip to Mott is the highlight of the year.

Visitor Comments: I lived in Mott 1984 or there about. I went to Mott high School for a very short time. I fell in love with A jr named Melissa. My step father was the eye doctor in town, Doctor Olson. I had to leave Mott for circumstances beyond my control but have never forgot Melissa. I would love to re unite with her if only by e-mail and try to explain things. I still think of her often. I also love Mott. I have lived in Florida and was a state trooper before moving to SC to work fed law enforcement. Please contact me Melissa

Visitor Comments: Lived in Mott from 1936 to 1938, prior to that I grew up on my grandfather's (Andrew Schatz) farm, north of Burt.  After a career in the military I retired in the state of Georgia.  On a trip back to NDak. I stopped in Mott and looked up Fred Everhardt an old school mate.  Lots of memories from the old days.  I am now 82.
