| Visitor Comments: I was a flight medic with the 82nd. for 2 years while at Ft Riley. best job I ever had while in the military.
Many people I remember but, Cpt. Ben Kniseley, the CO. was a soldiers soldier. Extremely fine person and comander. Those of you that knew him would surely agree.

Visitor Comments: Just saying hi to everyone who might remember me. I was a nurse at the 29th EVAC/3rd Surg from May '69 to May '70. After that I extended and went up to the 45th Surg. I see a bunch of familiar faces here.
I remember making a maintenance run up to Vinh Long one day and the following conversation as I was playing crew chief in the back:
AC: "Why doesn't the crew chief have on their chicken plate?"
Pilot: "They don't make chicken plate with lumps in it."
((Hugs))

| Visitor Comments: excellent site!
I was a medic in the 82nd in 1965-6 at Soc Trang.
Some of you might be interested in reading a book called "Soc Trang" written by Cark Bartecchi MD who was the Doctor at the infirmary next to us. |
