Visitor Comments: I would appreciate any information regarding my father, Seaman First Class Kenneth Eugene Graff.

He died during the Battle of Kula Gulf when I was six months old.

Just this month I learned that he is my biological father and am attempting to gather any pictures or comments from those who knew him while on board CL50.

I have also learned that he was on board the USS Oklahoma on 7 Dec 1941, survived the attack, and then was transferred to the USS Helena in late December.

Thank you for any assistance.

Doug

Visitor Comments: I am looking for any one that served on the USS Helena CA 50 that knew my uncle Robert C Cranford WT1C.

He was on the Helena from Pearl Harbor until it was sunk.

He was transferred to the USS Houston where he was killed on October 14, 1944.

I recently had a letter from a gentleman that knew him on the Houston.

Name: Gary Haile
Visitor Comments: I have a Lithograph copy of the pencil drawing of the USS Helena CL50, the artist is famous artist from Helena Montana, Branson Stevenson. You can find examples of this drawing on the internet. I would like to sell my copy from 1943, from my fathers estate, he also grew up in Montana. I would like to get $100.00 for it. It is not framed or matted, it is in very good condition and would be perfect framed and matted.

Visitor Comments: My grandfather, Charles Starcevich, served on the Helena (CL-50) prior to and during Pearl Harbor. He was also onboard when she sunk in Kula Bay. My grandfather was very proud of his service and membership in various organizations. He passed away in 1996.

I have several of his pictures, etc, from his service. I have also collected USS Helena memorabilia for many years, which I would like to make available for this web site if anyone is interested.

Thank you for building and maintaining this web site.
