| Visitor Comments: Hello to all my old friends and fellow students and instructors, I have many fond memories of the 8y yrs I spent with Eska St Albans club and also Hertford, both training and teaching. I feel it was an integral part of my teenage & early adult years and helped sculpt the person I am today. It helps greatly with confidence and I think it's really important for youngsters and adults alike to learn something like Karate or similar. Visitor Comments: Dear Sensei Nursey and all at Stevenage club,
It was with great sadness that I learned from Emma of the passing of Sensei Peter Cox. It does not seem too long ago that we were in Isola, or at some other social event with Peter. He was a great figure and always kept us on our toes, in and out of the dojo.
When I joined the Stevenge club back in 1988 it provided me with a platform to build my confidence and friendships. I remember Ted, Peter and many other memorable names and remarkable characters. Some of my deepest friendships were formed through the club and I still maintain contact with those friends and we often discuss the past, our skiing trips and many other moments that made us laugh and brought us joy. In fact Emma will be visiting me in Asia soon.
I will soon be embarking on a new start in Karate having been retired for some 15 years! I just hope my older joints can take it.
Best wishes to all at Stevenage to Sensei Nursey, etc etc... We had some amazing times and I am sure you are still having great times now...
Hope to see you all again one day.
