I love your opinion about the fleas, HawgWyld! Just recently I've run through jugs of Seargents and the Enforcer both of which made the situation even worse. That powder must include some kind of flea food to make them multiply even faster. Yikes! Even the Hartz cat dipping liquid shampoo didn't help. It only gave my kitty, Sasi a bad-hair day. She never goes outside.

I found an old jug of HARTZ Blockade spray which was banned a few years back. Now that put the fleas to sleep, permanently. I'm planning on trying the Raid Plus flea killer for the carpets. Hey, I appreciate your opinion. You make people laugh!

I read your review on the Lawn Boy Gold Series Lawn Mower.  The other thirteen reviews rank the same unit with either all stars or close.  I'm puzzled by such a disparity between you and all of them. 

BTW, I own an 18 year old 2 cycle Lawn Boy that's still kicking but will be passed down to someone requiring less demanding duty in exchange for something new for me.  I know what you mean by moronic safeties put on everything to protect all of us from the lowest common denominator of low life out there.  The function of a lawn mower is to excel at lawn duties first and protecting the ignorant bastard that doesn't know how to use it second, not vice versa and not at any compromise of the former.  It's a damned piece of equipment for God's sake. Next thing you know the blades will be made out of rubber!

Any other ideas on better choices for a lawn mower?  Rear bagger, mulching, self propel not necessary...I'm assuming that two cycles are out of the question these days...
