Visitor Comments: I have been natural for a 1 year and half. About a year ago I cut my hair right off until I had no more chemicals in my hear. What brought on this RAGE. Well I colored and relaxed within a short period of time and my hair began falling out. What really got me was the fact that my stylist did give me better advice. Well I am over it. I have very curly, coily hair and I love it. I currently use Ors Olive oil Shampoo and Pantene Cond for curly hair, and Shea butter. I get negative comments about my hair and I get positive comments. The negative some times can hurt but, I also find the confidence to stand up for what I believe in. I am also a Napptural member. Much Love sister. You look amazing and the color is HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Visitor Comments: I must say that you are really brave, I want to go natural but I tire of the long process. i hope that i can do it. I have decided to start with straw sets and then through the summer keep it braided until i get more length. |

Very good site Justice. I live in Holland and am seriously considering going natural. I am in my ,what you guys call, transition period. But I'm still a bit scarred to do the big chop.
Your tips are really helpfull to me and I am really gona go thru with this.
Greetings from Holland |

I'm right with you, Journey! I've been natural since September 2001 (via micro-braids, short afro, and cornrows). I'm now wearing twists and loving them. They were great short, but I really enjoy the length and movement they now have. My ultimate goal is locks. Thanks for sharing your story.
