Visitor Comments: Hi Dave, I was prompted to come here when I viewed your website. It's probably my setup I am using Firefox but I cannot view the main page correctly as much of the text overwrites other text. Must try IE if I can find it.
If no one else has commented thus then it must be me.
BTW just wondered if you have a bagpipe harmonica, not that I can play one LOL. Oh yes I see now that you have been in the wars as well in fact probably more so than me. All the best, I know now how you feel.

Funny i just came home after purchasing some harmonicas from old times... All new and in original boxes. I bought a couple of Hohner Echo Elite vintage in mint conditions, and a Hohner Tango doublesided, and two Kid-harps called Sonny Boy also in original boxes....   However after this affairs i went home and checked my purchased items, and.......

I came across this wonderful site and was stunned... My collection is small but as it seems a good one. Thanks for this informative site.

Visitor Comments: Hi. What a brilliant website with so much information. I came across an old Hohner Harmonica called a Song Band Model 1. I can't play the harmonica so decided to list it on ebay. (item no. 260315576784 in case you want to have a look) I couldn't find any information about this harmonica anywhere until i discovered your site. (Echo & Tremelos page 2) turns out that it was made between the wars, so is older than i had imagined. Also amazed to see that you live only 10 minutes walk from me in Spalding, Lincolnshire! Thanks so much for setting up this very informative site. All the best, Mark.

Hello, I'm Mexican, your website is excellent, not you imagine how much I've learned.

I am a collector of harmonicas, especially those who have been part of the history of my country.

I would like to maintain close communication with you more.

A hug from Mexico City

Visitor Comments: another harp-l member posted the link to your site, and I couldn't resist posting it onto the Slidemeister dot com site for all of the chromatic people to enjoy. We've all been enjoying viewing, reading about and seeing the restorations of the harmonicas in your collection.  Neat site!

Visitor Comments: Dave,

Greetings from Bethel AK. My son found a Hohner sportsman but it doesn't have the antique car design. It simply says "The sportsman on one side on the other it has some circles with the dates 1871 and 1881. and says Stuttgart. Any idea where I might find some history on this.

Thanks from the north country.
