| Visitor Comments: Hello to all the Hendricks(x) clan. I am retired elementary school gifted teacher, living the good life in the N.Ga mountains in a log home on the Ellijay River :-)
I am a DNA proved descendant of Albertus through James (1640-1715) >John(1697-1717/18)>John II (1731-1764) >John III(1756-1846), who was the founder of my branch of Hendrixes, those of Carter, Co. TN.
I recently returned from a trip to the Netherlands (see pix on our website), totally enchanted, and have written a children's book (unpublished) for my for grands about Opa Albert and Oma Helchey. I hope to interest then in their Dutch heritage. I am making the pilgrimage this weekend to Delaware and PA, to visit sites connected with Albert and his children. |

| Visitor Comments: I am helping my wife Linda research her mother's family surname Hendrix. Earliest ancestor we can trace is William Hendrix born likely in Pendleton District in SC. The 1880 census shows him in Henderson County, NC age 25. His son Hosea is her branch. Any help any of your membership could provide iin tracing earlier ancestors is much appreciated. |
