just a point i would like to put over to the last person who replied to the akitas attacking lassie  it is good to know her

dogs have never been attacked as she said they have always

been under lock and key but she would feel very differentif they were to ever escape im sure  i would be quite worried about

leaving my dog  under them circumstances

I may ask who you are and do you know Lassie's owners.. it seems strange that someone would come onto the site and say what you have without even knowing my dogs.

As I have said previously this was an accident and normally my own dogs are locked away before a client comes to be groomed. they are not allowed out untill all my appointments have been completed for the day unless my partner takes them for a walk in which case I lock the grooming parlour door.

I've just read the last comment made on this site and feel I have to log my views.

I have two dogs, a westie 18 months old and a cocker spaniel 25 weeks old who have been and will continued to go to footprints, I have never in all the time I have been at the premises experienced anything like this.  The aktias are ALWAYS locked away securely and I have never felt my own dogs have been at risk.

I've always recommended footprints to all dog owners and will continued to do so.

I will not defend any action my own dogs have done and will not reject any comment made.

Lassie was not hurt as ONE of my akitas floored her into submissive mode . He did not bite her, and I told the owners to watch for any signs of anything and to take her to the vets and to let me know what happened.

This was an accident and i am very sorry that this happened.. I was having some work done to my own dogs pen and the builders were doing said work, I asked my partner to put my own dogs away and unfortunately one of them opened the door. Lassie was clearly upset as were the owners and myself, in 3 yrs of working from home this has never happened before and will not happen again. I take great care in keeping my own dogs apart from clients dogs and while i know this incident should not have happened it did. I have nothing to hide and this is why I have left this entry in. Anyone is welcome to view at anytime.

This gentleman reported me to Trading Standards who in turn sent the dog warden round. The chap who came round was more than happy that the set up I have is more than suitable for the job I do and the safety of clients dogs.
